Corporate Identity & Scope of Governance
This Privacy Policy describes how OLOL Tracker Solutions (owned by Manoj Kumar, Sole Proprietor, 63 VPO- Badgaon, Saharanpur U.P. - 247452, India (IN); Phone: +91 7302 7302 03, Email: care@ololtracker.com) collects, utilizes, stores, transmits, and protects personal, location, and motion telemetry data across the OLOL Tracker mobile application, backend API endpoints, and web dashboard (www.ololtracker.com). This policy strictly adheres to Major App Store Developer Security Policies, Indian Information Technology Act 2000, IT (Reasonable Security Practices) Rules 2011, Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023, and global transparency protocols.
1. Comprehensive Categories of Information We Collect
Following global location application architecture standards, OLOL Tracker collects necessary telemetry to power workforce group management:
A. Precise Geolocation & Telemetry
- Foreground Geolocation: Real-time GPS Latitude, Longitude, Altitude, Heading/Bearing, and Speed (km/h) updated every 2.5 to 5 seconds while active.
- Background Geolocation: Continuous GPS coordinates recorded when the mobile application is running in the background, minimized, or when the smartphone screen is locked/asleep.
- Geofence Telemetry: Virtual perimeter entry, exit, dwell time, and perimeter violation logs for configured work zones.
- Road-Snapped Route History: Multi-color speed-coded route lines (Brown, Blue, Green, Yellow, Red) snapped to real road geometries using OpenStreetMap (OSRM) and smoothed using Ramer-Douglas-Peucker & DBSCAN spatial clustering algorithms.
B. Physical Activity & Motion Sensor Telemetry
- Motion State Recognition (`ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION`): Motion state metrics (`STILL`, `WALKING`, `IN_VEHICLE`, `ON_BICYCLE`, `RUNNING`) collected via Android `ActivityRecognitionClient` and accelerometer sensor fusion.
- Stationary Drift Prevention: Used exclusively to detect when the device is resting stationary on a table vs moving, preventing 0% fake indoor route history points and saving smartphone battery.
- Triple-Gatekeeper Filter: Requires GPS Accuracy ≤ 20m, Physical Distance ≥ 25m, and Speed ≥ 3 km/h before adding points to historic route logs.
C. Device Health & Network Telemetry
- Battery Metrics: Real-time Battery Capacity Percentage (%) and Charging State (Plugged in / Discharging) to inform Admins of field device status.
- Network Diagnostics: Connection Mode (WiFi SSID, 4G, 5G, Cellular Data) and Carrier Signal Strength in dBm.
- GPS Accuracy Thresholds: Precision metrics in meters (±m) to filter out multipath interference or fake GPS jumps.
D. Personal Account Credentials & Identity Data
Profile Information: Full Name, Primary Mobile Number, Email Address, Postal Address, Organization Name, Assigned Group ID Codes, Encrypted Passwords, One-Time Password (OTP) verification tokens, and Secure Cloud Push Messaging tokens.
2. Prominent Sensitive Permissions Disclosures
A. Background Location Collection Notice (`ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION`)
Background Location Collection Notice: OLOL Tracker explicitly collects, transmits, and processes precise background location coordinates (`ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION`) even when the mobile app is closed, minimized, or when the phone screen is turned off or locked.
Core Operational Purpose: Background location tracking is vital to OLOL Tracker's core purpose as a workforce management software. It guarantees that your authorized Organization Administrator receives real-time field safety monitoring, automated geofence alerts, attendance verification, and over-speeding warnings without requiring the employee to keep the screen active continuously.
User Consent & Control: Before background tracking begins, OLOL Tracker displays an explicit, prominent in-app disclosure modal requiring user confirmation ("Agree & Continue"). Users may grant, modify, or revoke this permission at any time through their device System Settings → Apps → OLOL Tracker → Permissions → Location.
B. Physical Activity & Motion Sensor Disclosure (`ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION`)
Physical Activity Collection Notice: OLOL Tracker explicitly collects and processes motion state telemetry (`ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION`) in the background to differentiate between stationary resting states (e.g., resting on an office table) and physical travel (walking, driving, transit).
Core Operational Purpose: Motion recognition locks GPS history recording during stationary states to ensure zero fake indoor route history points, zero zig-zag map clutter, and maximum battery savings for the field employee.
User Consent & Control: OLOL Tracker displays an explicit prominent disclosure modal in the App Setup & Guide screen before requesting Physical Activity permission. Users can grant, modify, or revoke this permission anytime via System Settings → Apps → OLOL Tracker → Permissions → Physical Activity.
3. Group Privacy Controls & Circle Data Sharing
OLOL Tracker enforces strict group privacy boundaries:
- Exclusive Group Visibility: A Field Member's location coordinates, speed, battery level, and network status are visible ONLY to their designated Organization Admin and Super Admin within their specific Group ID Code. Members of other groups cannot view your location.
- Automated Work Shift Filtering: Group Admins can configure strict shift timings (e.g. 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM), lunch breaks, and weekend/holiday rules. Location tracking automatically pauses outside configured shift hours if enabled by the Admin.
- Anti-Stalking & Anti-Spam Policy: Unsolicited tracking or non-consensual personal surveillance is strictly banned under our Terms & Conditions.
4. Encryption, Data Localization & Security Standards
Encrypted Data Transit & Storage
All communication between the mobile app, secure cloud databases, and server backends is encrypted using industry-standard TLS 1.3 / SSL HTTPS protocols (`usesCleartextTraffic=false`). Relational SQL databases and user passwords are secured using salted cryptographic hashes.
Indian Data Localization
In compliance with Indian Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) laws, all primary relational databases and user profiles are stored on secure, enterprise-grade cloud data center infrastructure serving Indian regions.
5. B2B Commercial Subscriptions, Payment Security & Refunds
OLOL Tracker operates on a B2B Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) subscription model:
- Subscription Packages: Organization Admins purchase subscription licenses defining Validity Days (e.g. 30 Days, 365 Days), Max Groups Allowed, and Max Members Per Group.
- Payment Gateway Security: Payments are processed via PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateways (including major UPI, Net Banking, and Card networks). OLOL Tracker does NOT store raw credit/debit card numbers or CVV PINs on its servers.
- No Auto-Debit Surprises: Subscriptions do NOT auto-debit credit cards without explicit user confirmation upon expiry.
- 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If a technical defect in our software prevents core location tracking functionality and our support team (+91 7302 7302 03 / care@ololtracker.com) cannot resolve it within 7 days, a full pro-rata refund will be processed back to the original payment channel within 5-7 business days.
6. Account & Data Deletion Rights
OLOL Tracker provides complete data autonomy in accordance with Major App Store Developer Mandates:
In-App Instant Deletion
Users can initiate immediate account erasure inside the mobile application under Profile → Delete Account 🗑️. Upon confirmation, user session tokens are invalidated and data is flagged for permanent purge.
Web-Based Deletion Request
Users who have uninstalled the app can submit a web deletion request via our Contact Us form or email care@ololtracker.com. All personal profile details and location records will be purged from active databases within 30 days.
